Pop Star Released On DVD
Pop Star was released on DVD last week and I was able to capture 60 high quality screen grabs and a video clip - all featuring Adrianne from this movie!
This movie is actually better than I was expecting it to be - the only reason I was looking forward to it's release was for Adrianne , of course. For not being mentioned by name in the promotional material of this film - Adrianne plays a pretty major role in this film - she has plenty of screen time! Yeah!

While looking around for information on any of Adrianne's new works, I came upon Angela and her website Aaron filming "Pop Star". Angela is a BIG Aaron Carter fan and when the opportunity arose for her & her friend Debi to be extra's on "Pop Star" they went for it! So I read through Angela's website and looked through her backstage photos , hoping to read something about Adrianne in this film and perhaps even find her in a picture or two. Unfortunately, I found nothing about Adrianne on Angela's site , so I figured I would try asking Angela if she happend to see Adrianne during filming, whether she could tell me more about the movie and Adrianne's character in it (Whitney Addison) and ... hopefully... if she had any other photos of the set visit that are not on her web site and perhaps Adrianne was in one of them. Well , Angela did not have any more photos , BUT she was able to tell me more about the movie and also that Adrianne was on the set the same day she was!
Here's what Angela was nice enough to share with me :
Hi Mike!
I'm glad you found my site and I think I can help with the information you're looking for. First, about the movie in general... (spoilers)... the plot revolves around JD McQueen (played by Aaron Carter), who is a young music star. JD decides that he wants to have a "normal" life, so he drops out of the spotlight and enrolls in a public school, where he meets and falls for an average girl named Jane. During my day on the set they were filming the finale of the movie where JD resumes his music career with his family and Jane's family watching from the audience. David Cassidy plays JD's manager, and Leif Garret plays Jane's sister's love interest. I don't think it's supposed to be a spoof, but based on what we saw, it will probably be very very cheesy.
If I remember correctly, the character Whitney is kind of the villan in the story. She is jealous of Jane's relationship with JD and tries to break them up by bringing JD's ex-girlfriend to town. Whitney is also involved in the final concert scene that we saw being filmed, and without spoiling what happens, I'll just tell you that her role in that scene is VERY funny, probably the funniest thing we saw on the set all day. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of her because I had no idea who she was, she wasn't on the set that much, and I was focused on Aaron and/or Natalia Livingston.
As for a release date, it's still uncertain as far as I know. In July both Aaron and Natalia told me that it would be late 2004/early 2005. I just spoke with Aaron again about a week and a half ago, and he said he had "no clue" when Popstar would be released. However, he has a tour starting in February and possilby a new album being released the same month, so perhaps the movie will coincide with those other aspects of his career. If you happen to find any information about the film and/or the release date, I would appreciate it if you'd let me know.

7 Mummies was released on DVD and I was able to capture several high quality screen grabs and a video clip - all featuring Adrianne from this movie!
The lighting in this film is pretty dark ( the majority of the film takes place at night - like most horror movies do) so the pictures and video reflect the dim lighting. - Adrianne plays a Good "Vampiress in training" in this movie , not quite on the Other Side yet , a sympathetic sor t of character.

Treasure Of The Seven Mummies
A misfit group of convicts find a fabled treasure and horrific death when they uncover the secret of the lost gold of the Tumacacori.
For over one hundred years the Spanish Conquistadors tore raw gold from the heart of the Guachapa Mountains, where they enslaved ten thousand native Hohokoham Indians and twenty-five hundred labor laden burros, creating a line of man and beast that snaked for more than two hundred miles across the Southwest desert to a secret place of hiding. Seven Jesuit priests vowed to protect the precious gold until the Spanish came to remove the treasure and take the wealth to another place. But the Spanish never returned, and as the priests aged and died, they were mummified and placed in pine coffins with the treasure to protect it for all eternity.
For over four hundred years no one came to this place. Until the great migration West, when new untamed settlers opened up the rugged frontier, and a small town was built over the ancient treasure site, where the men mined and looked for riches. When they uncovered the Spanish treasure, they awoke the seven Jesuit priests from their sleep, and the seven mummies sought revenge on those that had disturbed the gold. They killed the entire people of the town and placed them into a state of purgatory, the walking dead now cursed to protect the treasure of Tumacacori.
Now, another one hundred years later, six misfit convicts try to escape across the sun scorched desert to Mexico in search of freedom, but find a gold medallion covered with unknown symbols and an Apache holy man who tells them of the lost Spanish wealth. More gold than ten men can spend in ten life times together! As the group stumbles into the old frontier town at dusk to seek their fortune at taking the gold, they are forced to confront the town's wicked sheriff, Drake, and his two deadly deputies, who will stop at nothing to keep the convicts from finding the lost treasure of the Tumacacori and discovering the secret of the seven mummies.

Just to set the record straight. Adrianne's name is legally Adrianne...has been since birth
(I am her Mom!) She was always referred to as Annie growing up....but chose to use Adrianne as her professional name. Nancy
