Synopsis
Young hopeful Frank makes the biggest pitch of his life to a huge Hollywood
producer. He’s naïve about the movie business but in all his well-meaning
innocence is Frank onto something? Is there hope for young Frank and his
crazy dreams?
In act one of this ten minute short we find Frank in the Producer’s
office. The two shake hands and the Producer asks to hear Frank’s
pitch. Frank gives the Producer a pitch that’s perfect except for
one thing- there’s no conflict! The Producer, uncomfortable with the
idea of making a movie with no conflict, suggests to Frank ways to introduce
conflict into the story. These suggestions rub young Frank the wrong way.
He prefers a perfect movie about a perfect life. As the producer imagines
Frank’s ideas however, something catches his eye...

Tom has written, directed, and acted in his first two films, Rewrite and
Getting Rachel Back. Visually, he draws from a background in painting-
he
received his BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and also
studied art in Germany. As an actor he studies under Jeff Goldblum at Playhouse
West in North Hollywood. He casts his films predominately with fellow Playhouse
West actors.
